Twitter - Video Upload ??

I seem to be having great difficulty in uploading videos from my Nikon D500 to Twitter, (via my PC).
As far as I can see that videos must be 512Mb or less and can include .mov files, which is what is the output from the D500.
First time I tried it said the file was to big ... fair enough it was 530Mb but after editing it down considerably I still can't get it to upload.
I click on the Twitter upload button and get the file selection box ... chose the file and then nothing!
Anyone got a simple recipe for getting a video successfully uploaded from my PC?

I don't know Carl, I'll check it out ... I see loads of videos uploaded and assumed it was simply a question of uploading from the PC but I can't get it to work.

I don't do twitter so don't know anything about it. It's all double-dutch to me tbh. (Tweeting is a bird term isn't it?)

Ha ha, yes it's all pretty new to me too Carl ... weirdly though it's just accepted the video I've attempted to upload 3 times before!
