Out of interest, how do you think it is? I don't follow that many, but even then I just can't keep up with the message streams and I find I get a disjointed string of messages, re-tweeted messages, etc. I guess I'm 'doing it wrong' but I just don't have the time to follow and see what's going on with all those micro messages. Now for work I've got some automated streams scanning for a variety of things, but as an individual I find it hopelessly inefficient...

I don't think it is.. I know it is the best social media tool for my work.. I hardly read twitter BTW...

I cover lots of local sports. most have there own twitter accounts..Lets say I photo a cricket/football/rugby/whatever match between team A and team B.. I want to let followers of each team know pictures are available to buy... All the fans of each time dont follow me.... I tweet the pictures are available adding the clubs tweet address.. they see it and retweet to all there followers...... .. so in one tweet I get a message to all the followers of each team.. not random people uninterested.. but people who are interested in the teams as they are following them...

so as I said.. for me its a very effective tool as it gets my message to exactly the right people..

It's all over the place. DMs weren't loading. Then other columns weren't.
