Hoy folks. I don't really wanna spend another 10 quid a month on a 2nd Sky box for the bedroom. I want to get one of those wireless jobbies that mean you can watch the same channel as the main box on a second tv.

Anyone use one of these, have any recommendations?

The only criteria is that it has to be able to withstand a wireless router signal. I have tried a couple that the sound has a frequency pipping noise due to the wireless router that i use.

I have a similar arrangement like what you are talking about m8.

I have been using Technika TT-07 [I think it's a Tesco brand and was bought from Tesco] for over 2 years now and the transmitter sits pretty close to my wireless router and no issues so far.

One think I noticed is that in my bedroom where I am receiving a Sky Single, and if my laptop is on with wireless broadband then the TV screen flickers a lot. Apart from that issue, all's well.

I paid around 25 quids and I am sure it's gone down since then.

Good luck.

P.S: Search eBay for identical products.

I've never been convinced about the quality of these transmitters. How about running another coax lead out of the sky box?

Maybe the one I tried was a duff one then, as I could barly get a decent signal in the room right above the lounge.

No complaints for me ;)

oh my goodness i was just about to post a topic about this :D, im in same situation, i hate giving skye more money than i have to and since i live alone most of the time, no need for 'multi room' as im the only one who will watch from the main box anyway! except im worried that the signal will fail all the way from the downstairs living room up to any of the bedrooms as they can stretch quite far away from the box downstairs (5beds) so kinda a long way away...though if it does fail, will just use it in the kitchen :D may end up burning stuff though! hehehehehe
