You might have read my other thread about talktalk...well in my new flat ive got all these connections behind my TV. Could someone verify the un-labbled connection in this photo for me please? Iam not sure why the three connections are all labbled up and one isnt, and iam wondering if its for cable TV/internet.

It looks like a second feed for a sky box so you can get skyplus which needs two cables. So you can record one channel while watching something else or watch a recording and record two other channels.

All HD boxs need two feeds as well
 
Ok thanks, well I intend to get a new TV with built in freesat HD or a freesat HD box soon.

Are you pretty sure its not a cable point?
 
could be i guess..

im not sure many flats have cable prewired though, i know mine (circa 2004) with a similar socket to that (but with 2 labelled SAT sockets) doesnt.

quick way to rule it out would be pop your postcode into virgins availability checker i guess?
