Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice and hoping someone might be able to point me in the right direction. I’ve been interested in photography for the last 5 years and have done a number of courses in that time to help improve my skills, what I’m looking for is a tutor/teacher that would be able to do one on one sessions with me, I’m obviously happy to pay for there time and studio time. I’d like to work on my portrait photography and the different lighting techniques such as split, loop, and butterfly lighting. I’ve briefly coved the different techniques in one of the courses I took but would like to get it nailed down.

I live in Ringwood in Hampshire and was hoping to find someone that lived fairly local e.g Bournemouth or Southampton. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

most studios will do group tutorial days
they bring in the models, makeup artists and have a theory and practical session for the day, 4-5 hours, for <£100 quid
basic tutorials and then more advanced one are common
I've been on a few and really like them
and the group thing is good, nice to meet people and means you're under no pressure when shooting the models.
