Tumble Dryers - vented or condensing ?

More thanks for the continuing replies - It looks like a condenser is what we will go for in part as the heat aspect appeals, and having a big hole in the wall doesn't.
Fluffy towels also appeals as I am a sensitive man.
The speed of drying is not important to me, and like Diving Pete, ours will only really get used in the winter.

Had a few over 25 years and the latest (Bosch WKD28350GB ) is by far the best... no big holes in the wall and fluffy towels are very welcome :)

we went with condensing initially because we're renting and i didnt fancy asking the landlord if we could cut a big f*** off whole in the wall. However having got the miele I wouldnt change it (and it was only £120 , two years old, on ebay - some posh bint was changing her kitchen colour scheme and the tumble drier in cream just had to go daaaahling) ... it also has a continuous drain tube which tucks into the same drain as the washing machine , so theres no faffing about emptying containers.
