Will you be interested in the above? The new phone must be the most leaked one so far. I'll be upgrading from a 4S.
 
Hoping for a firm ios8 date (unless I've missed one).

Interested in the 6 although it's one I'll be skipping (not on my 2 year upgrade cycle).

Iwatch I'm extremely "meh" about.
 
Nope

I'm smartphone less now.

The 5 has gone to my daughter, the 4S to my wife and I'm just sticking to my humble work phone. Very liberating.
 
Possibly. I'll be due an upgrade. I want one that isn't noticeably bigger than the 5.

Completely disinterested in all things iPhone, I'm a Galaxy man...BUT am on a similar 2 year cycle, luckily it coincided so I had S3, skipped S4 and now have S5. Happy chappy :D

Rumours are that the gold master version will be released next week after the "event" on Tuesday. (This normally doesn't need a developer account to install, just a google search how to install it and is same version that will be released to public)! Then the full public release is normally week later, so approx 16th, few days before new phones on sale. That's if A: rumour is true and B: Apple stick to normal way of doing things!!
 
Hmmm I'm curious but tempted to abandon ship, my contract ran it a while back, kept the 4s but went to sim only, save money plus I didn't know what I wanted..
Home button is now playing up so it's decision time... Wait for 6 or dump apple altogether :D

Me too I'm still on my S3
I do actually like the iphone but the lack of memory for me anyway is a problem
I've got all of my photos on my s3 on a 64gb card:)

Oh didn't realise that you could get a 64gb iPhone at the time I was looking at a 4s
I've got about 30 gb of photos plus music:)

If you like the S3, you'll love the S5, Mrs Chap still on her S3 (upgarde in Nov) and the difference is staggering, while the similarities reassuring :) Am saying nowt about iPhones as I've never had one, and this could descend into a Nikon/Canon type thread :ROFLMAO: ( apart from one small voice saying "I love my Nokia Lumpia" :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
 
Galaxy note 3 owner here, I do marvel the aluminium design on the iPhones though. The larger iPhone 6 will be my choice after seeing the leaked video from Russia this week :)
 
Maybe. I like iPhones. I have a Galaxy 3 that will be up for replacement at the end of the year (and it's started running v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y and eating battery). I'll either get an S5 or an iPhone 6. Or maybe a Nexus. Whatevs - I like smartphones but I'm not particularly loyal. I won't look into it until a week or so before I change.

If the iBand is a watch then....no. I think the idea of linking phones and watches is fundamentally misguided. Plus I have a nice Suunto that does everything I need.
 
From the "leaked" reports of the iphone6 it looks like it still will not even have a "Full HD" screen resolution (ie 1920x1080) which has been pretty standard on any half decent smartphone for quite a while now. It seems that they are now simply following rather than leading.

I'm looking forward to the nexus6 release which is rumoured to have a "Quad HD" screen of 2560x1440 rather than the basic "Full HD" screen of the nexus 5. It will almost certainly be cheaper than the iphone.
 
It will be interesting to see what comes on offer. My iPhone 5S has been well used during the last year and my contract is up for renewal.
 
The iphone fanboys will be getting moist.
 
Sorry to ask, but as a s5 "owner" do people use their mobiles for talking to people anymore?

I will confess, sometimes cannot be arsed to load up a bag with DSLR and lenses.
Sometimes cannot be arsed to speak to people.
Sometimes cannot be bothered to hunt down one of the ipads to check up on the erm........... oh yeah wonderful talkphotography website.
 
I'm using for about 200 active minutes per day in talking to people....As my children say, that is all I do...talk on the telephone and send emails...
 
My well used and battered iPhone 5 contract is due for renewal this year and will probably upgrade but not too sure about the larger screen. My son has the Galaxy S5, the plastic fantatic ;) Its a lot of phone to carry about in your pocket
 
Cant wait to see the first chump wandering along with his iwatch
 
I'm after a new phone, tho wont be going to iphone 6 unless its truly outstanding....

As for any phone watch thing... still all a bit meh for me too

Me too, had iphone for years but i am bored now, have no clue what i want though...quite like the look of the windows tiles on the nokia

Have you recalibrated it? It's just a software thing, can't remember the input combination to do it, but it sorted my retina iPad when the home button was getting unresponsive.

So it's launched! What do you all think? The Apple Watch looks pretty interesting.. Will be interested to see how this compares in reviews to the android wear ones that are out at the moment.
