TTIP trade agreement with US

How the TTIP could affect the NHS:
U.S. medical health company wants to setup in the UK.
It can not compete with subsidised free NHS.
It sues.
Other British companies have already had to pay 'fines' for being subsidised by government.
We should be more French and just stick our fingers up
Or even more basic than that. The NHS routinely uses generic drugs. Any US company can say it harms their profits and sue. So the govt gets used for using generic drugs and will then have to pay for branded versions. If every drug prescribed was branded, it would bankrupt the UK.

Does anyone truly believe that UKIP will make any decisions in their own right in the long run?

I think they are are a viable alternative to conservative which is what I normally vote. I think parts of their policies they have are what the conservatives should be doing.

I think a Tory/UKIP government is what we need. Tory spending cuts and tax policies but more aggressive than what we've seen with UKIPs in/out pledge (hopefully the electorate will choose out) and kerb in immigration, benefits cuts to non uk born people coming to Britain etc

Thats over simplistic. Every pharma company (and I think they have much to answer for) knows that when any of its drugs lose patent protection, generic competition effectively wipes out the sales on that drug.
