Daily T's 365 challenge..... Life begins at 40......

Love the branches (so much prettier than mine on the same day - lovely processing) and I like the DOF on the guitar.

Lovely touch of colour and most excellent DOF :)

Do hope Carol is up and about again soon :hug2:

Thank you!

I love your bathroom window - doesn't look like glass, more some kind of thick textile or tapestry or something....very nice job on it! :)

Todays is lovely as well - great, vibrant colour which stands out so well against the background.

Thanks for the update about Carol - I saw your message on her thread and was checking back to see if she had responded on it at all. Hope she feels much better very soon.

Thank you!

Beautiful T! And I hope Carol hurries home, it's not the same without her!

Thank you!

A quick catchup on the last few days from me Trace.
Lovely portrait of your Little Rat, he has a real look of mischief about him, which is very appealling in kids I think. Great to have spirit, don't you think.
Wonderful eye contact too, can't fault it.

Your bathroom window makes a great abstract, as others have said it doesn't look like glass at all. Well seen and captured, thinking outside the box, I like it.

Todays has lovely vibrant colour about it but it doesn't grab me the same.

All round good work Trace.

Thanks Iain! To be honest yesterdays for me was boring and didn't really grab me either.

Lovely colour & DOF is spot on. Send Carol my best wishes & say we look forward to her coming back to "sunshine haven" :)

Thank you!

You definately made a bathroom window look really interesting yesterday T, nice job.
Todays im not so sure about, the rose hip looks a bit isolated or something.

I'm with you there too Phil. it's boring tbh lol

Echo that I hope carol is back with us soon :D :hug2: now to the photo's T, nice to see a picture of the rat   and I've gotta say your still doing really well on the whole

Thanks Matt!

Thanks Lynn!

See i knew it would be back to miserable grey days today!

ONE DAY! JUST ONE POXY DAY that's all you give us!!!!!!!

(SULK)!

Ok on to todays photo... i had to adjust it slightly... maybe because i didn't think it through properly but hey minor hitch.... seriously!... in my head i wanted both hands cupped with space but ...... yes yes i didn't think and i am doing that a lot lately, it's worrying!

Also actually whilst i am here, where would you have had the words? to the left or right?.. Is there a right and wrong way? personal choice? dependent on photo?... whether you are left or right handed?..... maybe that's a silly one but my parents always said i done everything back to front and always blamed me being left handed so worth an ask.... lol

Well that looks the right way round for me, but I am left handed. I always have to think when I do a still life with a cup to put the handle to the right as if it's to the left, how I would use it, people say it looks odd.
But with writing, we always read from left to right, so I think with text it works to the left, but then again, it can work to the right as well! :cuckoo:

Anyway, I like the shot :)

Yes, it works that way because the watch is slightly angled towards the text and so it flows well for me. Also, did you crop the hand because the way it is, you have a great clean line. If you did it to the right, you would either crop into the hand or have a clumsy thumb there! (if I'm right about which hand you used!). I really like and I am not left handed! :)

I like it very much, if you'd used both hands, I think the watch would've been lost tbh.

Thank you.. i would never have thought about the cup handle!!!

Thanks Sam... I cropped it because the oof fingers curling up annoyed me and detracted from the watch and yes the thumb was a problem with what bit of white space was to the right...

Nice timing on that shot Trace , love it

Thanks Vince!

Thanks Sarah and yep your right it did, the few i had either the hands didn't look right or the watch looked lost

I wonder if i have repeated my titles yet?!

Last minute one today as washing and food shopping etc kinda took over most of the day.....Damn normal life getting in the way lol!

Anyway i grabbed some flowers from Tesco but had to be cheapy discount ones as shopping was way to much. i wasn't all that happy with my rush snaps before picking rat up from school, but mucking around with processing i decided on this.. it is quite a heavy crop so not as good as i would have liked.... but if you're tired like i am it's not so bad lol

That's a cheapy discount flower? It looks better than the non-discounted ones they sell at our local Tesco! :D

Very nice :)

I like the rose - I wish they sold flowers in our supermarkets over here I always used to have flowers in the house in the UK :(
