Daily T's 365 challenge..... Life begins at 40......

Great shots- well done on breaking into the SP's! Love the second, made me smile

I've just realised i never replied to comments from the landscape shot!:(:(:(

Thank you all so much.... :hug2:

I shall now go sit in the naughty corner!............:bonk:

Catching up - that's a fab tiger shot! Great eyes! Also love the barbed wire bokeh and your SP is just excellent - the angle, the crop, the processing - it all works for me! :)

Busy day today usual boring stuff like housework and shopping seeing as it's half term next week.... urghhh cost a fortune.... but before i went i stopped by the church yard as it's been awhile since i took any graveyard style photos..... I got a few but nothing that really jumped out at me and said ..........'It's me.. It's me i am your POTD'........................ until this one that is.......

I would have liked all the letters to be in focus but the original photo i hadn't in all honestly planned for it to be used like this......in fact i didn't think i would use it at all........... It was a large tomb type big thingy ( sorry to all religious honey monsters out there that i don't know the words)....... anyway it was all engraved but laying down and it looked lovely so i shot the photo accross it not looking down... once i home and having a play i decided just to choose this one word and rotate shot.....................

And this is it basically.... i shall stop rambling now because even i don't know what i'm saying half the time..... i'm sure my fingers type what ever they see fit to sometimes....

Day 38/356......Some things are.......... by Cg_girl....so behind but trying to catch up, on Flickr

I like it T! I've never shot in a graveyard before!

Some of the best places to shoot Jake - get yourself to one and see what you can find :D

That is great T  It is a bit like one of those 'eye trickery' things you see where it looks as though it is one way then you think it has swapped direction ...... or is that just my eyes playing up?

I really like it Trace. I like that some of the letters are oof :D I've never shot in a graveyard either!

Hey hun, love the look of the barbed shot, v nice processing.

The views shot is simply brilliant, those clouds are stunning.

Again your SP's are brilliant, really loving the comp, crop and processing of the first one, and the outtake made me smile.

Great shot for today too, I suppose it's a blessing really that you go to a graveyard and nothing jumps out at you, that's the last thing you want to happen in a graveyard :lol:

I really like that and it works well with the changes in focus - very gothic! :)

Graveyards are great places to shoot - wanted to get to one last weekend, but got lazy on the wrong day and the next wasn't right for it...planning on going very soon though!

I like it, it's really different and I would not ever think of that.

Thank you Matt!!

Sacred works really well Trace , nicely captured and great composition

Thanks Vince!!

Today i wanted to get out and about as next week is half term and i might end up having to stick to indoor shots depending really on the Rat and how much he lets me use camera out and about.......

The problem i have isn't really him moaning as he likes taking photos too.... it's the fact he likes to steal my camera( at 5yrs old) eek!!!!..... and becomes a right bossy so and so......... plus i end up with 10000 of the same shot on my card!

But it hasn't worked out today. weather is a bit grey and miserable so.......... we have

NUTS!!!..... but.......

now i am going to behave like a silly school girl here but whilst editing something made me giggle.....

Infact i am still giggling now...

Did the monkey lose something else too?....

Oops!........ sorry but my silly humour i had to keep the shot!

So here we have monkey nuts and.... 'things'

X

Day 39/356.... Monkey..... by Cg_girl....so behind but trying to catch up, on Flickr

How very puerile of you, T :nono:...................:lol:

Great shot and, yes, someone somewhere may well be missing something! I love the processing on this one.

So, did you explain that joke to the rat?:p

Very naughty! (Funny too!).

Re kids and cameras, my eldest is 6 and funnily enough I was talking to him the other day about teaching him how to take photos. we're going to do some light painting together soon! I normally give him his own memory card so he can shoot away and then I can edit mine separately - we just swop cards!

Sacred is really nice T, and Nuts made me smile. Not surebwhat it says about you though;)

No no he was at school but anything now i do he will be here bossing me about so i will have to be on my bestest behaviour lol

Great shot T!
And  at the naughty nut!

I'm so childish lol!!

 Great shot Trace!

Thanks |Toni!

good grief T ... one of those shellls is shaped like a *****

*** ... i'm being censored!!!

Lol are you? does it not let you write cock?

OMG you're right, it's almost exactly like a ***** :)

Hehehe i know.. how rude! lol

The background and processing really suit this one.

Thank you Lynn!

My middle girl is 14 this year and she has started doing a lot of stop motion stuff so she wants to save for one like mine, but i may suggest just a decent point and shoot, depending on her requirements!
giving your boy his own sd card is an ace idea... i've given mine away for one reason and another and i'm only left with one so really need to get some more as that would work better not having to sift thru his shots..... Arch loves the light painting too!! it's nice they want to get involed.. my rat has since he was nearly 3.... tho sometimes it is on HIS terms lol

Sacreds a great shot but the monkey nuts one is even better! Love the detail and the lighting in that, it bursts with texture!

Thank you!!

So today started out with a lazy ish morning although that still included the usual hoovering bit of ironing and general tidy of kids rubbish!...

My 2 eldest are with their dad for the weekend so it's just myself and the pesky lil Rat....Originally the plan today was toys.... but after he got dressed he said i could take his photo so i thought excellent i can have a portrait that isn't me........ but.......

My god he used to be pretty good when it suited him and i could always get the odd few shots but today...........Serious serious case of ants in his pants...... not one or 2 or even 10.......... we are talking thousands!!...................... so that idea went out the window!!

So we end with with this..... funky foam flowers!....

God help me for the next week.......................
