Daily T's 365 challenge..... Life begins at 40......

Well I think that both of the recent photo's work  I love the details in the rose with the water on it  have spoke to my tech support guy and we could come over one afternoon/evening this week if you want, if you want to PM with the operating system and the issues that your having I'll pass those details on to him  we could meet up somewhere local to Dav, maybe a nice village pub

I like it T. I'm having a bit of a "need them all" moment with nail polish recently...

lovely and bright :D Looks as good as a product shot :D

Vail narnish - what's not to like :D

Lovely vibrant colours

Haha i'm going to be calling it that from now on.....

Hi Trace
I haven't been visiting for a wee while sorry :(
I see you seem to have found a go to subject, flowers
The light painted flower is a fantastic, technically very good IMHO
I like your processing on the rose too, lovely colour tones.

As for todays........my you are grumpy
You are so dismissive of what is another great submission. The vibrant colours and generally bright feel to this make it really pop.
Keep smiling, keep up the great work too. Iain

Hehe you always make me laugh Iain thank you!... yes i was mega grumpy last night.. seems i don't take too well to not having anything i like!.... although i was quite ok with this........ eventually!

Fantastic vibrant, popping colours, and it's SO hard to get anything in a glass or plastic container without too many reflections of any light source around so, all in all, this is really great! They look like the ones your daughter wore in her armband photo! :)

Haha thanks Sam yes they were hers! the original one i wanted to use had huge shadows which was causing me serious grumps lol

Vibrant photography !! I like it Trace

Thank you Vince!

Must admit T ... I love to see what these colors are like painted on.. ;) great shot.

I can paint your nails for you if you like...;)

Matt thank you i will pm you!.... although i've emptied what remaining pics are on there so i have space now... not sure if that is/was my problem:shrug:

I like it T. I'm having a bit of a "need them all" moment with nail polish recently...
Me and my girl can be terrible with nail varnish.. usually the brighter the better lol!

Really effective with the vibrant colours

Thank you Colin

lovely and bright Looks as good as a product shot
Thank you carol!!

Will the colours cover up the black toe?

Hmmm well i'm wearing the bright blue at the moment so it kinda blends in nicely lol

It's good & bright, stands out.

Thank you Sarah!

Apologies for last nights obvious grump lol.....

I love the processing. :)

And I know what you mean - having spent the afternoon at a 4th birthday party - never mind building them, getting them out of the packaging can be difficult enough!

Great photo, love the B&W and the DOF is great for this :D

I really like that  and happy birthday little guy :D

Awww cheers Matt....

Eurgh yes packaging is just as bad!... i mean why? does it really really need all those ties and things... is it going to jump right out of a sealed box.... methinks not! lol

Great photo, love the B&W and the DOF is great for this :D

Hehe Thanks Carol i do love my dof!

I had planned to be organised today and get a picture first thing..... but it didn't quite go according to plan and i was grabbing a quick a shot whilst preparing the childrens dinner.... oops!

It seems flower shots are definitely my go to shot for when i'm rushed or have to inspiration... although it is going to get expensive keep buying them so maybe an investment of a few 'decent' fakes might have to be in order...

Anyway this was taken against the kitchen window with the rain in the background.. although it does look like snow bokeh!

Day 28/356.........A little colour in the rain... by Cg_girl, on Flickr

I like that....although, I wonder if it might have worked better on the left...or, turned to face the other way....still, it's a good image anyway...

Damn i was going to flip it before posting lol!! i wanted to get more of the back of the flower but with this image it may have looked cool facing in....

Hi Trace,
I like the racing cars, the composition works well in that they have space to move into, your chosen dof works well with the subject too. It does suit the B&W conversion also, all round good work with that one

Todays submission ain't half bad either ;)
I like your processing on this, it has a very soft and dreamy look to it  A small crit/observation, I feel the flower leaning into the frame would help the composition a little. But its no biggy, it works :) Iain

I like the misty look of this and will be the dissenting one....sometimes doing something that we don't expect to flow as it 'should' is a good thing as it makes us look again. I like it.

Oh T THIS is my fave yet!! No flipping needed IMO. I'd hang this in my home

That is really beautiful. A great kind of advertising shot - well done! I like the flower facing away, makes it interesting and the rain makes an awesome background.

Love this! The flower, the crop, the soft processing and the rainy window behind is a fabulous backdrop.

i'm with ferj on this concept..the flower facing away, text to the left ...

do love the background, ingenious to use the rain like that.

Fantastic, really like the use of the rain drops, all sparkly and and pretty. I also like the flower pointing away like that, makes it just a bit different.

beautiful  as always T :) Love the bokeh and a beautiful little flower :)

Think I would have liked the flower facing into the frame and perhaps a little less misty? Don't know if you've applied a layer, but I'd have cut it back a bit over the flower to make it more clear.

Thanks Sarah, i actually prefer flower facing away, the only thing i would have liked would it be in the left on side......

Admittedly this was rushed and i didn't fully look at the composition on this but i really like it... thanks Sam!

Thank you Carol!....

Making the best of a poor photo tonight.... i really shouldn't leave it till the evening with poor lighting if i want to eliminate stress lol........

The focus on the book was ok and i wanted me blurry but what i didn't want was such a noisy picture.... 110% my fault and then battery ran out and i hadn't charged the spare.. grrrr .... so by this point it was work with what i have..... sooooooooooooo using my lightened layer method and blur i think hides as many sins as i can....

Note to self....... get your Ass in gear earlier tomorrow T....:-)
