Great - makes me really want to try this too! (Glad the scooter is not essential.)

Well thats the pleasure/pain thingy! Thats really evenly lit for light painting looks good

Flower ill met by torchlight ... Nicely positioned with plenty of deep darkness to suck the viewer in to...

Thank you...... :hug2:

So tonight i am within 15 mins of the deadline.....because i was being blase about todays pic and it turned around and bit me in the ass!....

I knew today i wanted to do another flower or atleast another playing with light... so i bought some flowers whilst in town... it was ideal because i had a busy day and had to get Birthday Presents for the rats birthday Sunday.....
But he goes to bed... i set up take a few shots and tried a few other ideas.... one i took was just a single rose in a glass of water... now i liked this shot but on processing after man handling the glass there was a nice huge THUMB PRINT!... doh..... so out with that......

So in the end i settled for this one and processed completely different to my original intentions.... i don't know if it was because i was using hessian material that i wasn't happy with processing compared to last nights plain black? but either way it wasn't grabbing me...........

So we have this because i have only 10 mins left for day 25......

Day 25/356....Softly Pink.. by Cg_girl, on Flickr

Very pretty.

I think that as long as the shot has been taken on the day it can be posted afterwards. Suppose you go away for the weekend or on holiday

I've seen a few *** on 365 on Instagram just posting an image every day - not taking one every day. My approach is this one though - take a photo every day & upload when you can.

Pretty pink flower. :)

Chance would be a fine thing!!:lol:

Very true tho..... and we can't stress too much.... Christ i stressed to the point of silliness after day 2 and i knew i couldnt be like that for 365 days lol

Thank you too!

That is an absolute stunner - gorgeous :D

That is stunning T!

Aww thank you Jake:D

Loving the technique... The detail in the petals is awesome.!

Thank you I'm quite enjoying this style at the moment..

Phew!!! was beginning to panic then  and you are very welcome :D enjoy until you get a bigger one :D x

Really gorgeous T! I'm the same... I feel like I must upload today's photo TODAY haha. But it's no biggie if you don't. You can make your own rules :)

Beautiful flower, extremely well taken and well lit

Thank you Tezz!

Thanks Toni i'm sure at some point i will be late lol

Light painted shot is really nice, must try light painting at some point

Thank you.... its great fun you should!

Like the light painted flower very much, the background is well blacked out & great detail in the flower. I might have trimmed the stem to just before the leaf joint to make it neater, but that's me :)
Like the rose as well, but have you thought about cropping top and bottom? It looks quite interesting in panoramic format.

Really really nice T, and nice processing. I'm going to have to start asking for tips as I havnt a clue!

Thanks Phil I'm no expert but I'll always share what I can do :-)

Adore your rose photo, T - so detailed and delicate!

I'm with you, get a shot each day and well done for getting it just in time! I love the flower head but for some reason to me it feels a bit over processed, the background maybe a little too white? I cant put my finger on it but don't be disheartened by comments! The 365 is all about trying new stuff and getting the shot each day and that's how we develop (in my mind!) Hope that makes sense ;)

I agree. I think the rose petals look lovely (really like the colour and texture you've captured) but the background doesn't work for me. I think it worked for your lens shot because the circle of the lens were so clearly defined. Here the petals of the rose are more graduated so you've got a kind of inverse halo effect around the rose head. Still, it's always good to experiment, and given more time I've no doubt you could perfect this.

2 great flower photographs.....how is your toe? :D
I have no ideas for a tomorrow's photo yet, but have noticed mrs kennysarmy has some flowers in a vase which may just get borrowed....haha maybe I can make them levitate too...

Short and sweet tonight because i am one miserable grumpy Bitch.... Had no clue.... well thats not strictly true.. had a few ideas during the day that i thought i'd try later. but when later came i just didn't have it.. discarding everything as blah blah blah....
to the point where i nearly posted a blank white page... lol

Anyway it is what is in and there we go.....

Day 26/356..... Pop.. by Cg_girl, on Flickr

Vail narnish - what's not to like :D

Lovely vibrant colours

Hi Trace
I haven't been visiting for a wee while sorry :(
I see you seem to have found a go to subject, flowers
The light painted flower is a fantastic, technically very good IMHO
I like your processing on the rose too, lovely colour tones.

As for todays........my you are grumpy
You are so dismissive of what is another great submission. The vibrant colours and generally bright feel to this make it really pop.
Keep smiling, keep up the great work too. :D Iain

Fantastic vibrant, popping colours, and it's SO hard to get anything in a glass or plastic container without too many reflections of any light source around so, all in all, this is really great! They look like the ones your daughter wore in her armband photo! :)
