Loving this T. I think it's my favourite of yours yet :D

Thanks Toni I love the bright dreamy ish effect but need practice as often start that way and end up completely opposite with dark and gritty!

I like that T, the crumpled background and processing suit and you have lovely feet!
Awww thank you Phil!

Sorry, a couple of days behind. I love your frozen canal image, and I like your foot shot too! I like how you chosen to process both. 2 very strong images!

Thank you Tim! I'm falling behind too it's hard work lol

Great work for your day 19 Trace, the processing really suits the subject. The splash of vivid colour works well in contrast to the overall soft feel of the image. Iain

Well done for going out on the 18th, it's a great record of the heavy snow we had in Norhamptonshire, just a good thing you didn't fall in!
As for your toes, I am just so jealous that they are so neatly painted, I always make a mess of mine :)

I really like the tree shots - can't decide between them - maybe the second - and a very nice effect on the feet shot -good contrast with the nail varnish.

Thanks Tezz!

Thank you sarah... I'm glad i didn't mind you it's that frozen i'd like to think i would have just gone skating lol!.....
I think i was lucky with my toes... i often make a mess!:D

Thank you so much:D

Omg how much more snow are we going to get!!..... started at around 9am and hasn't stopped since.. on top of what was already there from friday!..

so as you can see it's me again... well an upside down me... now the only thing i find laying this way because it's not just an image rotation is frown lines!... so you have to seriously remember just before the shutter goes off, the amount i discarded was phenomenal......

Now as for the portraits.... i'm still feeling silly. not natural ...but it wasn't as bad as the first day .... but i just don't know what/how to be.... perhaps it's time to start searching for ideas etc... but then that gets me cross because i want them to jump out of me.. i want to wake in the morning thinking... YES! .... lol .... actually thats probably impossible because it's usually nooooooooo i don't want to get up and then a bucket or 2 of coffeee.... then a YES! may be possible..lol

Anyway i will quit rambling here is day 20

Day 20/356...Upside down day.... by Cg_girl, on Flickr

You get 'softer' with every Sp you take! your eyes look great on this one and love the way in which they are looking away from camera into the distance. Very nice SP, T.

Very nice indeed Trace !

Thank you Vince!..

Well i do tend to go for real dark gritty ones like the first couple so now trying to get to the other end of the scale lol....Thank you Sam!

Todays is another nice one T, you are still much braver than me. Good focus, nice pose and processing. I am one of those people who was tilting their tablet upside down to see it from the other angle!

Haha I was doing that with the laptop just to check bits!! Thing is taking the shot this way when you turn right way up makes you look funny!.... Or I think I do lol

Thank you!!

That's a terrific self portrait. I like it in mono, nice, bright and sharp and excellent composition. Well done!

Catching up with last few days Trace....loving your wintry scenes, the 2nd of the tree shots I feel is the better due to the composition. Again the canal shot is a good en, especially risking life, limb and camera to get the shot :D. Great soft shot of the feet, again the composition of that shot is spot on, and loving your latest selfie, and proves that your definitely not 40 ;);).

now that is another gorgeous SP  I definitely have to have a try at one of these but hate having my photo taken so it will be one heck of a hard job for me to do

Fab SP ... I like the upsdie down take on it ... I still dont have enough nerve to do one though

That's gorgeous!! So envious!

I'm the same as Tezz, no confidence for it at all!

That's lovely, I think it would've been nice if you'd let your hair hang too

Awww thank you Simon!!:D:D

Amazing T! Spill your selfy secrets :p

Haha thanks Toni... if only i had selfie secrets... getting slightly less scared of them and it's my only chance really of shooting people at the moment!

now that is another gorgeous SP  I definitely have to have a try at one of these but hate having my photo taken so it will be one heck of a hard job for me to do

Thank you Carol that's exaclty what i am like and takes ages for one shot im sort of happy with.... is getting easier tho!:D
Fab SP ... I like the upsdie down take on it ... I still dont have enough nerve to do one though

Thanks Tezz it's finding those slightly different shots of portraits that i like!.... agree it is scary tho!

That's gorgeous!! So envious!

Thank you Steph... i was dead against them but it was a mission with the 365 to become comfortable infront of the cam... especially with grotty days with nothing to shoot
That's lovely, I think it would've been nice if you'd let your hair hang too

Thank you Sarah that is a mission... i did try quickly but gave up to soon... it's balancing the upside down with out to much of face distortion and looking a complete plum lol :D

Well today i kind have had an idea about using the snow... didn't want snowscape but wasn't quite sure on full ideas...
Anyway this is what formed... wasn't quite what was in my head but close ish.
What i do need to master is the being in focus.. i must have 100000000 blurry ones lol... where i'm trying to focus dashing to the spot. throwing snow on myself all in 10secs! eek!... i tried putting something in my place and moving it but i still struggled!

Anyway day 21......

Day 21/356... This is my super profound title...:-P by Cg_girl, on Flickr

So what do you focus on and how do you know to be in the right place? (Never done selfies before where I've focused then got in shot - only done a few and was using a remote.) Fun shot and it works.

i  those gloves... so fluffy.. you've captured them brilliantly

..and getting your eye and lips through the gaps is stroke of genius.

Oh, I actually really like that :D

Focus on the gloves looks fine and the soft focus on your face is excellent.

Great shot :D Looks like you are becoming a SP expert :) Some great ones of you :D

That is a nice shot! Love the 2 before as well. Both really strong shots. Love the processing on the feet shot. And I just like the other one cos, well, cos I do!

Your gloves photo is brilliant, Trace! and just a sneaky-peek at your face behind! :)

Well done on todays T, you are producing some great self portraits. And you have some great ideas too.
