Daily T's 365 challenge..... Life begins at 40......

Loving #2!!

Thanks Toni!

Tree 2 for me also. I lurve negative space :)

Thanks Tim me too!

love them both but have to veer more to the 2nd one :D Great work

Thank you Carol!

I find it hard to keep track of whose thread I've looked at that day sometimes! I try to make sure I see everyone's at least every few days even if not every day.

I love no 2 as well - I love negative space. I've just put my shot tonight up on the FB group for my camera club - I've added some toning as I wanted it to be a bit different (as lots of people shooting the same model) and tried a different crop and am now worrying about it...lol

I worry about everything lol!

Oh wow, those 2 tree shots are top! Love both of em :)

Yep i do this... emails would do my head in lol!!

I like the flower photo  but not totally sure on the processing, but today's I caught a brief look at them on my phone early on facebook but seeing the on the big screen now all I can say is wow, what a great landscape find, so minimalist bit works so well I like them both a lot but I love the wider off set one

Thank you so much!

Number 2 for me Trace , love the bleakness that the shot shows!!

Thank you Vince!

So i really was hoping it wouldn't snow today like it forecast as i had plans this weekend.... but alas it did.. too risky for parents to babysit so its a weekend looking like we are snowed in........
Choosing this location probably wasn't one of my most sensible ideas.... Canal..snow.. slippery... camera..... me thinking i am clever balancing an umbrella to protect the cam and.....
yep i fall over! eek! camera was ok tho and i made a quick retreat back to the car... with a pounding hearbeat thinking!... THAT WAS LUCKY!!... lol

so here we are a tribute to daftness....

Day 18/356..... snow! snow! & more snow! by Cg_girl, on Flickr

Ah - will have to check that.

I like the canal shot and good going venturing out to get it! I got as far as two feet from the front door and that was enough for today! (Will have to travel in it tomorrow though.)

Thanks Lynn this was taken earlier this morning whilst it wasn't too bad... i wouldnt want to drive anywhere now... actually i don't even think i could get my car of the drive lol!

Great shot of the canal!
The snow...well...I was working in Northampton, Wellingborough and Kettering today and this afternoon was a nitemare, got stuck twice in Kettering, saw a van slide straight into the side of a car and had to drive like a snail as even the main roads were like a skating rink, stay safe at home

Yeah I'm not driving in it either - but need to go to work so snow boots and train option I think!

But what tribute T  Great shot ... well done on saving the camera as well :D

Love the canal shot and it suits the conversion. Shame about the boat that is at right angles to the bank though :(

I thought the same when I saw it, you should actually have climbed onto that boat and walked out to the front corner of it for your shot of a clear canal. At no risk to you or your camera at all:D

I did walk further up a little so i had a clear canal shot but i just wasn't as happy with it and i don't really know why lol

I like the canal boat at an angle - hardly ever see that (at least I don't) so it's a little 'different' for that.

Love this in mono, works brilliantly

Glad to hear your camera was fine (and you, but we all know your leg would heal whereas.....;):D:D)

what i love T about the canal scene is the flurry of snow whirling about you and the boats. Breath taking action.

Hi Trace

Good on you for venturing out today with your camera.
Great image, but agree with Matt, maybe clone out the telegraph pole and wires. The boat going across the bottom works, but maybe crop a little off the bottom of the frame just below the boat. Iain

I love that canal shot! It's gorgeous :)

Fab canal shot, hoping to go the local aquadrome and canal tomorrow , depending on the weather

Wow, that's some amount of snow! Great shot. Wow it was really pelting it down!

Loved both the tree shots, usually a big fan of negative space but in this case the symmetry of number 1 wins for me. (Isn't it cheating posting 2 though :) ). Also liked the canal scene though would perhaps have gone with a little more contrast?

Haha yes I originally thought so but I'd seen everyone else sometimes do it so thought why not!.... Only occaisionally tho!.....

I prefer 2 with neg space but #1 has hit explore in Flickr so it shows different opinions!.... Everyone here went for #2 as well!
I tend to use alot of contrast but just playing with tones really :-)

Thanks Matt! I tend to miss silly things like this! I should have yes!

I need to find my imagination tho or i'm seriously going to start getting stuck!

I like the way the legs are crossed at the ankle, gives it a lot more interest.

Nice processing too

Love day 19, who'd have thought you could get such an ethereal feel to a pair of feet...........but you'd better tell me you photoshopped them to buggary or else I will kill you through feet jealousy!:lol::lol:

I like that T, the crumpled background and processing suit and you have lovely feet!

Sorry, a couple of days behind. I love your frozen canal image, and I like your foot shot too! I like how you chosen to process both. 2 very strong images!
