Judging by the photo on the album, it looks like it could be 1980s or early 90s. I've never seen anything like it, could it have been handmade by someone, a one off maybe?

Looked all over the web and nothing. Are there no clues in that album or did you only get pictures.

I've only pictures but the client says there is nothing in the album to suggest a manufacturer
It's her mum and dads wedding album and they can't remember even the photographer

This has probably been noticed already, but does 'Dulin' (on the front cover) have any relation to the client's family ?

Mario Acerboni used to do some pretty extreme stuff. IIRC the owners wife used to make some one off covers.

The only wooden albums I've ever seen were Mario Acerboni. They did some really interesting stuff, I just don't like their album interiors.
