Trying to buy Google's NIK Collection

Spent quite a bit of the morning trying to buy the NIK Collection from Google. Every time I get to the blue "Buy Now" button, nothing happens. There also seems to be quite a few images missing from their website too, where it's just showing the usual small black box with an X in it.

Any one else tried to buy the software recently?
 
Just tried myself - straight through to the billing page -£95 and it's yours!
NB the site looked fine, nothing missing
 
If you do get there (hoping you do) keep a backup of the file because if you change computers/photoshop versions or something you'll need to reload it. If you haven't the backup you'll have to pay again if you've lost the download.
 
So you're trying to assist Google's bid for world domination (alongside Macdonalds, Coca Cola, Vladimir Putin and others)?

You shouldn't have to buy it again, as long as you login to google with the same login details you should be able to download it again.
 
Their site seems to be working now.

Have to say, they were very generous with me. I bought one of their plugins from NIK Software before Google purchased them and then lost it in a system upgrade. I shot Google an email and they sent me the entire pack of 7 plugins completely free of charge. Can't complain about that!!

Same, their helpdesk is pretty good.
Also got a free upgrade on one of the 7 too - Analog Efex.
 
Thanks again for all the help. I managed to download the NIK Collection but I do have a problem seeing it in Lightroom. All the programmes from the collection are available and work well in PS (CC2015) but there is no sight of them in LR.

Not sure when I bought the collection if it is meant for PS, LR or both. Any help or advice please?

Might be worth right clicking on a photograph and seeing if it's in the sub menu that appears?
 
Thanks for the reply Edward, nothing about NIK showing in the sub menu.
 
Strange they bought it, but I don't think there are upgrades / updates for a couple of years? Other products like Topaz seem to be as expensive as they ever were.
 
Really want to get NIK for my MAC wish they did a discount code occasionally
 
There are discount codes to be found via search, whether they work or not is another matter. It's only £95.00 though and you get a fair bit for your money. They do update occasionally although nothing like Topaz etc. I believe they added Analogue Efex a few years ago. Any updates tend to go on in the background I think.
 
Well I've just ordered it need to get home to download it. I have used it before and it is very very good

Gramps, thanks for the link, I went through the instructions and the Presets box was already unchecked. Following the other bits at the minute to see if I can get any further.

I've used the download link in my original email 3 times so far with no problems....
