On My quest to try new film, i just got a roll of the stuff jessops give out. Developed, at.. Jessops :) so i even got another roll of it to play with :D

This film was a alot grainer that i thought it would be, but the colors are really nice imo! And i hated that it was a 36 exp roll. Thats too long! I ended up wasting the last few shots because i wanted to finish it :P
Here are a few shots that i got with it!

These are straight from the scans from jessops :) And there are marks and stuff, but i think it adds to the whole film feel :)

erm are you saying Fujicolor 200 is re-badged Jessops?

No? hah, All i was saying was that, Jessops Give out this Fujicolor when you get film developed there. They give you a roll for every roll you get developed.

Fujicolor is the cheapest film Fuji do, it only retails at around £1.60 a roll. It tends to be the stuff that probably gets rebranded to become boots film etc.

If you havent already I would give fuji superia 200 at go, it is also available in 24s. I got my last lot from Mailshots for less than £2 a roll.

A good trick I got taught was when shooting the lower end Fuji film is to use a slight warming filter (81A etc) as this helps to alleviate the 'cool' tones associated with Fuji.

p.s The new Kodak Portra is the dogs danglys, I reccommend everyone tries a roll or two. It can apparently also be pushed to 1000asa quite easily

Ah! Jessops used to supply their own film......someone printed on the film cassette and box, advertising Jessops.
