Truck driver hits a car and just keeps going

That's one piece of amazing fake footage if it's not real

4 reasons it appears real to me

1) I'd imagine that shaky random hand held footage is difficult to fake
2) The car always appears to be there even in the split second glimpses of the lorry
3) the way the car looks in the open window @10seconds then changes subtly behind the window @11 seconds
4) the lights on the middle lane barrier through the 10-11 second sequence

However, it doesn't mean this isn't an elaborate stunt and faked that way.

The only niggle in my mind is that I would have expected the tyres to be very quickly disintegrating although the road being wet would have made the friction co-efficient lower so it's more likely to slide, especially as they are being pushed in a direction that they aren't designed to shed water so there could be an element of aqua plaining occurring

clear roads in front, rolling road block behind.. its staged another classic viral, like all the other everyone says is real and months later find out a company has planned.

there would be cars flying down the fast lane, there is nothing in any other lane the truck would be pulling over to the slow lane, as it changed lanes the clio would spin out one way or another.

not to mention the tyres would have popped of the rims from being pushed sideways for any distance.

My old man is a truck driver, he's had cars spin out and hit the front of his truck before, even he said there would have been a huge "thud" + the car would be badly damaged even at slow speed. No way a driver couldn't notice (clio looks fine, no damage to roof etc from being hit)

just saying, although the sun says it's real so i'll leave it there

I would have thought the tyres on the car would have gripped the road causing it to roll. Either that or at least some sparks. It all appears to travel along too smooth for my liking...

why on earth would arclight want to spend a lot of money spoofing a video showing what is in essence a very bad thing for their company? noone's going to see that video and think 'oh they're all safe drivers at arclight, let's hire them' :P

and the police investigations etc wouldn't be in play if it had been legit hoaxed...

just saw this on bbc, amazing video...

why would the video only come to light now, surely if it was real the filmers would have given it in as evidence, rather than shoving it on youtube!

its got to be a fake, not sure why it would want to be faked, surely not for the benefit of arclid thats for sure? someone with an axe to grind?

I worked in the recovery industry for 18 years, I`ve attended plenty of RTCs like this in that time.

I had a corsa that was pushed very much like this for a good 200yards down the M25 near Leatherhead. The two passengerside tyres blew out, and the only reason we could put it down to was that it got trapped under the LGV`s bumper enough so that it couldn`t go over.

Three very, very upset pensioners in that one!

i find it very hard to believe the truck driver didnt notice ( was he asleep at the time? )
