Trover (yet another sharing app)

So just watched a video from Brendan Van Son on YT and he talked about a site/app called Trover. I've had a quick look at the site and it seems just another sharing site.

So I wondered if anyone here is a member, and if so what is the benefit of using it?

Id seen him using it a few weeks ago, it is a sharing site but based on location so I thought could be handy for researching locally or certain locations. However, so far its not really helped.
