Because of problems with my hands, I find it incredibly difficult when it comes to buttons and zips. When at home, I usually wear jogging bottoms or, very occasionally, jeans. I'm trying to find smart trousers with elasticated waistbands (like jogging bottoms). I've looked online but finding it difficult, a lot say elasticated waistband but they still have buttons and zips.

Anyone here buy such things? Any recommendations?

I've seen lightweight summer chinos/casual slacks with elasticated waists and drawcords in some stores here, so they do exist, but I'm not sure this is what you're looking for and I'm South Africa. Most clothing in SA is imported though, and it might be worth calling some of the major retailers' customer care lines and asking around? Good luck with your search.

http://www.chums.co.uk/.COTTON-TROUSERS-WITH-GROWING-ROOM_MT040.htm they have them in a few colours, looks like the button is for show but works on the same priniciple (drawstring i think) as joggers?

Thanks T, unfortunately the buttons are real and they have zips

Yeah, my next step will be to contact the retailers

Have you tried Jacamo, http://www.jacamo.co.uk/shop/1/_/N-1ytvh3i/Ntt-elasticated/products/show.action?hnid=40005&type=cmr They have quite a selection of elasticated waists etc nad reasonably priced. I use them because I'm a little err...overweight but they do some odd sizes too, most of the stuff I've bought there fits my bulky frame. Go into a place like topshop etc and if your above a 36 in waist then tough , they don't cater for oversize guys.

Cheers Frank. I looked at Jacamo and it's the same issue as above, they still have buttons and zips. The ones in your link are a bit pricey as well, is that what you usually pay for trousers?
