Trouble with Silver Efex pro 2!

So I downloaded the 15 day demo for Windows, with the Photoshop and Lightroom plugin. However the Lightroom plugin does nothing, and all I get with the Photoshop plugin is this... Any ideas guys?

It looks like the program isn't fully loading, I'd be tempted to re-install. (note it can be slower that SE 1.0)

I had it in CS5 worked fine, however CS6 it kept crashing it, will try a re-install, some Nik software does that Ive had issues before with them, every time I install colour efex as well if I remove that, silver works fine, very strange
 
Are you using CS6? check it's installing in the right place, the folder structure is different.
 
I had a similar problem.
Installed OK, but won't start up from LR3 or CS5.
No problem thought I, go to the start menu and open Silver Efex manually - errm :thinking:

Silver Efex FAQ - nothing useful.
Google - nothing.
Trial license ran out before I could bother writing an email asking for support.
I think I might get on OK with Silver Efex, but now I'll never know....

To the OP - what version of Windows are you on?
I installed my trial on a vintage Vista laptop as I don't like installing trials on my main PC.
There's nothing anywhere to say Vista is the problem, but it's getting on a bit now and it was never that good in the first place!

Is anyone using Silver Efex with Vista?
