Tripods

All all, iam after a fairly basic tripod to use with my 400D, it will be my first one so iam not after anything to flash. Budget is around 20-30ish.

Can anyone recommend one?

I have a tri-pod and find that I hardly ever use it. I get much more use out of the monopod. They're cheaper than tripods and easier to carry around.

For £20-30 buy a couple of filters, they will have a bigger effect on the quality of your 'photos.
If you want a tripod that's worth having there are some deals around the £100 on one of the Manfrotto 190 range of tripods. More money but it will work as a tripod!
Red Snapper seem popular with other users of the forum but I've never seen one so can't comment on them.
