Tripods

Hi All,

I've been using a really old velbon tripod I acquired from somewhere for free. I can get it stable, but positioning it is a right faff, and it weighs a tonne. So I've decided I need to save for a new one.

What should I be looking for in a tripod? Anyone got any recommendations?

All depends on your budget - suggest you weigh your current Velbon to get an idea of how alternatives compare.
