Ok so my asda tripod has done me pround so far but today I realsed I need one that pivots out at 45% and offers more positions.

I was trying to shoot straight down and couldnt get the object close enough to the tripod and have the camera face down.

I found one on jessops site Giottos 9361B Tripod with MH5001 Head

any help on price or make, dont really wanna spend more than £150 for now.

I bought a 9361B and paired it with a Manfrotto 494 ball head, great combination. It's a well made, solid feeling tripod that can go as low as you want. Easily as good as the Manfrotto 190 XPROB and comes with the extra short central column for when you want to get very low.

I have read that the 190XPROB is quite a popular choice for the pivotting

and

Giottos MH7002 Ball and Socket Head

same sort of price £134.90
