If anyone uses tripod stools ...

Asda are currently selling off their summer camping stock for 75p each ! They even come in a nice little carrying bag !

Handy for you football / wildlife togs out there.

Cheers

Anth.

PS - Simon, I picked 2 up for you last night - will give you them on Friday !

Can you make the link more specific, I can't find them anywhere?

I use a 'Walkstool', available in 3 different sizes to suit your height and weight. Comes complete with carrying bag and available from Warehouse Express or Amazon. Rather expensive but very robust and ideal for a person of my stature.

There is no link in the original post. I suspect you'll have to go to your local Asda and see if they have them in stock at that price.

There is, you just don't know it!

When you type a "buzzword" such as Asda Amazon Ebay etc.... It automatically turns that word into a link to the website.

And if you subsequently purchase an item via that link you are supporting TP as they will then receive a small commission :)

Actually I do know it, I just don't class the word Asda as a link to some tripod stools. You can also buy the same stools on ebay but I wouldn't say I've just given you a link to it.

No link intended.

Contact your local Asda for details - although if it helps anyone, the one at the Trafford Centre has loads!!!

It does say max weight 56kg - but I weigh about 90kg and it takes the strain easily. And for 75p, who's complaining ?

I bought something cheap and similar a few years back. It worked OK the first few times. Then, one day when I was out trying to shoot Linnets, I heard a ripping sound and felt the Earth begin to move. In an attempt to avoid imminent castration as one of the legs tore through the seat, I fell back - straight into the gorse and bramble I'd been trying to hide in.

The next day I bought one of these. A lot more expensive but I've been using it for three years with no problems.

Here, Here, Frank
