Tripod quick release plate help please

Hi Everyone

A friend of mine has very kindly given me a tripod -there's just one problem - the quick release plate is missing.

I've tried our local camera shops and Jessops, in town, but to no avail. I've tried googling the model as well and no luck there.

The tripod is a Clubman Companion V.P. III and I've attached a couple of photos of the head in the hope that one of you kind souls on here might be able to point me in the right direction where I may be able to buy one.

It looks pretty similar to ones I have. Try 7dayshop as they sell quite a few (or they did) plates separately.

Not enough posts yet for the wanted section. Seems you have already done some searching with no luck your best bet is to just buy a new one if you need a tripod. Keep an eye on the classified section.

CarMac - I'll have a look on there for one.

Foggy4ever - I got myself a cheap one from Amazon - it's nice & light so I can carry that around with me, I just thought if I can get the other one geared up as well it's a lot more sturdy for in the house and things if you know what I mean.
