Tripod help

ive read good things on here about the redsnapper's, but have no experience with them .
i have got the 055xdb with the 804rc2 head ,and i really like it .nice and sturdy etc . i dont think you 'd go wrong with either , but a vote for the manfrotto here .
 
I am also considering the Manfrotto at the moment. Just cannot seem to make the final decision.
 
I ordered the Redsnapper special offer TR283+RS528 and a TB12 ball head - £117 ish all told.

Why get a ball head as well as the 3 way head included in the offer?

The offer means that the 3-way is only £15ish so if it is not for me, someone else can have it as a bargain.

Edit: They arrived, as promised, today - I ordered yesterday just before 12:30... however they must be added to the pile of things that need wrapping...
 
i got the red snapper tripod on offer and its my first "proper" tripod and its a really well made and sturdy bit of kit.

For the price u cant really go wrong
 
I think I managed to drop enough hints to family to ensure someone will buy me the tripod :D

I wont know till I get home tonight as I'm stuck working nights :(

Got the same myself, cant go wrong. Not on the light or small size though.
 
Got the tripod as well :D

Wondering if anyone has found a way to get the tripod to fit into the bag without removing one of the handles off the head.
 
I'm planning on getting the tripod & head on offer this week - looks like a perfect setup to fasten my new macro rails to :-D
