Tripod/Head questions

Hi all

i have been looking around for a while for a new tripod and ball head.

i have decided on the standard red snapper legs - does anyone know how long delivery of RS products take from their website?

Also, head wise. i've been looking for a ball head. but of a reasonable price. i have found this one and would like to know how you lot rate it.

Tripod legs will be there next day - joe at redsnapper is very quick

Can't comment on that head as I have never used it - but you should consider the redsnapper ball head. Remember you get a 10% TP discount with them...

i have been considering the RS head as well. but im trying to find one for a bit cheaper if possible.

if the head i have posted up isnt recommended then i will probably get the RS one as well

i have the rs tri-283/ball head combo and its a killer piece of kit, to be honest its the best tripod you will get this side of £200, joe is very quick at delivery and you also get a nice padded carry bag and a short center columb for those low down shots, in my opinion its an awesome combo

Remember, if you buy a ball head that is not really up to the job you will end up replacing it with one that is...

All I found is this:

From the thread in sales, that was on 26/3 so looking around 10th April at a guess?
