hello, I've been using a velbon df-61 that I picked up when I first took up photography, but its a little too heavy and big when collapsed and to be honest the head is maybe a little complicated for what I use it for... As in I really only shoot landscape so i don't need twist/tilt really.

I've been looking at getting something around £100, maybe stretch to a bit more and I came across this one...

just wondered what you guys opinion is on it, its a more simple mount which I like, and a good price too.

cheers in advance.

Looks good for the price, but don't forget you'll need a head as well.

Actually I have a lightweight video head with QR plate available if you need one - £25 (£50-£60 new)

What camera and what subject? Presumably landscapes mainly?

It's quite light, and I've just bought a geared head so it is surplus to my requirements.

yeah, but you've been around long enough to know that all selling has to be done in the classifieds section, not elsewhere.

Sorry again - once I've got home and worked out the model and condition I'll post it in classifieds.
