Ive been watching the 055XPROB for a while which doesn't seem to be coming down in price, the differences between the two seem to be very subtle.

The 055XPROB looks to be ever so slightly better as it can take more weight, slightly taller and thicker leg diameter.

Hmmm... Decisions....

Hmmm... Decisions....

The 055 is quite a bit heavier, noticeable if you have them both together. I have it and don't regret getting it over this. However, now that I gave the X100, I've no need for the size and weight of the 055, despite the stability it affords.
