Hi,wondering if anyone could nudge me in the right direction, hopefully in november i'm going to nepal and i'm planning on trekking to see Everest, but i'm stuck on what lens/lenses to take,i'm thinking about taking my 50mm f1.8 prime(for landscapes) and my 75-300 f4-5.6(for general stuff),i've got a 18-55 but that only goes down to f3.5.
If anyone has done a similar trip or even the same trip to Base camp Everest and can advice that would be great,i really want to get some great shots of Everest especially early in the morning with the sun clipping the top...well thats the plan :)
Thanks.:)

It's going to be an expensive trip so you don't want to be investing in new kit. BUT i really would advise trying to upgrade your 75-300. Maybe a 55-250 could do a job?
You are going to want to keep your kit to a minimum. If you are investing in sherpas then you will only have upto 8kg of kit in your day pack (a couple of litres if water is quite heavy).
If your not hiring sherpas then minimal kit is a must.
I would make sure you gave polarisers, maybe a nd grad filter. Power can be an issue, make sure you got plenty of batteries.
