Hi

Was wondering if anyone had any experience of using this App with the dongle? Can download it free, so thought I would give it a go.

Any info appreciated.

No experience buy digital photo did a review in their February issue.
Can scan and send you a copy of the article if you want.
They give it 4 out of 5

That would be great.
Thanks

I borrowed one from a friend for a couple of weeks, it does a lot of cool and unique stuff. Get on the website and download the manual to see everything.

Highly recommend the dongle, but also remember that you can use some of the app's functionality, with your phone's camera.

This is what I was wondering about, using it with my camera.

Will do it just now

Thanks for that, have downloaded the manual, but just wanted to know if anyone had physically used one. Review was very useful.

Thanks again

It is all about using a proper camera rather than the onboard iOS one. The free app alone is just a taster, I don't use it at all now I gave the dongle back. Sooner or later I will buy a dongle, they are dirt cheap.

Well worth spending the £25 on a dongle and now it's v2 I use my triggertrap all the time and quite often remote release it from iPhone to ipad.

was reading up on this app/dongle as well. liking the interface, not sure about the functionality though.

apart from the distance-lapse feature, I think everything else is feasible in-camera using Magic Lantern?

Could you send me a scan to?

I don't have Canon, but I don't know if magic lantern can do sound activation, time warp, bump and vibration, metal detection, motion detection and bramping amongst others. Of those the only one I would use would be bramping and timewarp.

Can anyone recommend a (iPhone 4s) cradle to dock in the hot shoe of my 5DMKIII?
