As requested by at least three people here are some pics I've just taken with the Fuji F31d of the treadmill.

Didn't want to post them in the weightloss thread as I thought they might clog it up a little.

Two storage areas either side of the console - perfect for a water bottle or an ipod.

For scale purposes, the TV is 40"

The TV needs to be on the wall so you can watch while wou run!

For some inexplicable reason my eyes were immediately drawn to the little object, same size & shape, and next to the Orange one under your 40" TV ... :suspect:

Can't think why ...

:p

Thats because its the green controller for Scene it! on the Xbox 360 Rog ;)

The treadmill stopped working today :( Think theres a shorted wire/broken wire in the right arm and half the buttons aren't responding now. Need to phone them Monday to get an engineer out.

Gutted.

:shake: ... sod the Xbox stuff ... ... you are right it must just be the Green thing ... ... couldn't quite put my finger on it before ... :D

Sad to hear about your malfunction Matt ... hope it is sorted pdq for you ... :suspect:

:p

Thanks mate.

I'd just gotten right into the habit of using it too, it was fab :(

Might have to go out for a brisk walk tomorrow to compensate unless it snows ;)

Personally i don't see the point in running machines. Surely running outside(!) is much more fun (unless it's raining of course) than running on a machine staring at a wall?! It's also considerably cheaper!

I don't see the point in Mac's either, but each to their own and the money is spent now anyway ;) (note: that was a joke, to illustrate how we all have different opinions)

Its too cold outside :(

Plus I live in Bradford - would you go running outside? I'd rather not get shot or stabbed. :p

I was joking about that to a mate at work, tennis would work but bowling might cause an injury or two ;)

Oooh thats a rather nice treadmill I must admit!
I'm normally sceptical about home treadmills....Being a user (*ahem*) of gym ones, I have this vision that home ones are going to be these flimsy things. That doesnt look too bad at all.

I like the light thing on the wall too....Fill it with sweeties so you run faster :D

Sucks about it being broken though :( Was there much to build?

But then if we turn the light on they'll all melt!

Bottom part comes all assembled, you have to connect a wire in each upright then push them into the base, 4 screws in each then 4 wires for the console, push them into the poles and another 4 screws, thats it.

That sucks donkeys bits m8 :(

I must admit i'd go bonkers on it there

i need a window to look through, or a nice young lady on the machine in front of me :D

I was quite happy listening to my music and walking along this morning till it broke on me :( not impressed. It is easy enough to move into the middle of the room so can watch tv or something while using it once we are using it for longer if we get fed up with listening to music.
Was enjoying using it as well, and getting into the habit as well, but guess will have to have a go at my dirty dancing work out dvd instead tomorrow :)

Behave laddy! You're in a great spot there! Turn left and run down to Queensbury Swimming pool, turn right onto Station Road and have a nice gentle downhill run, and then a good uphill run into Clayton and back home for some well earned bacon sarnies ;)

Also - you have a nice walk down Park Lane and the Park down there (name escapes me now!!)

:D

I used to run on treadmills in the gym and found myself running looking out the window at the park. The worst thing was they used to have a 30 min timer so I had to start it going again every 30 minutes.

I would quite like one at home as there are days I struggle to fit a run in and having a young daughter means I cant really go for a run in the evening - if I had a treadmill would be easy enough to put the monitor on and run indoors.

That one looks pretty decent - just out of curiosity, how fast can it go? A lot of the home ones seem to be capped at between 10 and 12km/h

this one has a top speed of 16km/h

Sue phoned them up this morning, we have to send the console back and should have it back within 7 days. Need to find a box big enough to fit the bloody thing in now though :o

You havn't seen the picture he puts on the wall when Sue is out then? :naughty:

I've tried treadmills in the gym as well as bikes and I get bored very quickly. Sadly it's a works gym so no nice young ladies to take my mind off it. Plus which at 5:30 in the morning I have the gym to my lonesome anyway. Now skipping I don't mind so long as I don't keep tripping over the rope. Failing that I jog round the gym, leaping over benches etc. and up and down steps for a change of scenery.

My Keeley Hazell calendar was on the opposite wall all year in 2007 :p

She had a Robbie williams one, so it was a fair deal. Its just Robbie doesn't have boobs.

No, but he's a right tit. :naughty:

I agree, but sue would strongly disagree :p

She really likes him.

Luckily shes on nights and at home in bed at the moment so won't see this (if she does it'll be much later)

Well hopefully we will be sending off the console tonight so hopefully we will get it back soon as I am missing been able to use it every day just for a little while. :( I was just getting into using it as well.

Console has been sent so going to ring them tomorrow in the hope they can tellme they have got and have sorted it and when we will be getting it back.

Right update time, after numerous phone calls and dispatched items we now have a brand new treadmill, so far it is up and working speed can be altered and so can the incline, and best of all the emergency stop button works, all of which have been problems over the past month with the one we had with various consoles.

So keep you fingers crossed it keeps working for a long time this time round.
