This plastic lensed old tlr is capable of sharper pics than I thought it might, if it wasn't for our crappy focussing technique, they could all have been sharp
A few managed it, but besides the focussing and biblical dust event, there were a few fatalities I'm afraid.
If anyone wants a large jpg or tiff to play with or just keep, I'm away for a few days but pm me and I'll up them to a file sharer when I get back.
Posted in the order they were on the roll -

2 and 4 for me, but I also like 9, and the graininess of the film, it makes it look like a faded photo from the seventies, which is appealing.

Excellent - good to see the results. The color and grain in 9 does work well.

No.2 is mine.

I can see how a camera like this could have a lot of potential, completely different feel to my digital shots.

I am impressed by the straight horizons, or has Joxby fixed them for us?

I can't believe it's finally over, some nice shots there and a god job with the developing Joxby.

B****y hell, they came out pretty good!
Can I have a big Tiff of number 11 please :)

Now, do I need another camera

Cracking shots people - even mine came out (#4 - unless anyone else claims it :) )

Thanks to Kev and Joxby for the Camera and the Dev/Scan respectively; Blapto deserves a thanks as well even if time was not his friend at all!

I can feel the call of the MF/LF - saw a magnificent LF in Dorset on Saturday - but I have not yet been seduced completely!

B.

excellent

2 4 and 9 are awesome, 10 is mine (errrr dodgy focussing i blame lol)

great stuff and thinks Kev for the opportunity to do this.

yay, it turned into a bit of a marathon over the 100m expected!!

some nice shots there, well done everyone.

did you get the camera back yet kev?

Wowzer, nice.

I'm amazed by the sharpness in 2 & 11. Especially in contrast to the graininess of mine (9). Chuffed it turned out so well and with a straight horizon to boot. :D I was aiming for something akin to an early 80s postcard.

Thanks Ken & Joxby for making this possible. Joxby, can I get a big-ass tiff when you get the chance please, thanks.

Nice to see the results, and such a wide variance in results - love the olde worldiness of #9 (1960s ish quality !) and the foreground sharpness in 2 and 4 and the clarity in #11 just goes to show you don't need 20Mp and L glass to get good results

Well done to all who succeeded, and Joxby for his efforts devloping.

Yus, I dunno what happened with that one, its not a funny scan I did it twice, that's how it is on the neg.
There was some dust but not as much as you're going to see in the tif...

It may well be a double exposure as I didn't get the shutter lever cocked properly and it flicked back before I pressed the release. Don't know if that'd fire the shutter or not  we shall see.

I wonder if it's anything to do with that. It was pointed at the sky when the first one went off (if it did).

Dusty, grainy, whatever. I'm just happy there was a usable neg and it's a half decent image. :)
