Hi All,

Can I have your recommendations for a travel tripod which is light and compact enough to fit in a suit case but robust enough to carry my nikon D90 and Sigma 17-70? Budget is up to £100 really but interested to hear what you recomend regardless.

How big is the suitcase?

For example could you get a tripod 55cm long in it, quite a few four leg section ones are around that length when closed?

Well, I don't have a suitcase yet so that it is a difficult question to answer :D I guess that will be one of my restrictions.
 
I bought my Manfrotto190 in Prague as I couldn't fit my 055 in the luggage.

I now have a Manfrotto MK393 PD bought 2nd hand on here for £25.

I'd look for either of those. Both are brilliant

Thanks Ninja, what is the weight of the Manfrotto MK393 PD?
