Transport Help Please

hi,
For an art project i choose to do transport and then choose skateboarding and BMXing but then i got stuck on ideas of where to go to get the pictures (i have got a couple of mates that skate) but other than that i got no idea :eek: can you help me on places to go (must be near somerset(sorry:'(). i might ask my mates if its ok and meet up with them and take pictures, but i got to do research first and come up with a portfolio of the work i did. All i really want to know is any good places near somerset that have alot of skaters.

If this doesn't work i'll go to public transport(which sound alittle boring)

Mate such a shame you cant get up to London... There is an amazing place where all the skaters and BMXers go - its full of Graffitti and is right on the Thames by the Embankment - really cool place to go... Thinking about it now I might even get down there myself.. Good Luck with your project.
 
I can get up to london but not very offton i could go up there maybe where abouts is it?
how many times you been up there are the guys that skate their friendly (i dought it lol)

just make a daytrip to any skatepark when the weather is alright. U can most probably snap away to your hearts content and try loads of stuff.
 
Hmmm... much as I hate to be the nagging father but...

Are skateboard and BMXs really a form of transport?

or is this a decision based on something you'd prefer to be doing? ;)
 
it doesnt have to be motor transport just anything that has wheels or can move is transport (humans aren't transport unless its a piggy back:) but anything to do with moving :))

They get quite ****ed off with you if you use the flash though!
 
if that happens with the flash then is the area indoors is the whole indoor part really dark then? It still make me want to go down there and have alook get some pictures for my work:)
 
For decent BMX/skateboarding photos you'll want flash (preferably off the camera) indoors or out.
