Transferring photoshop actions

Hi

I'm shortly moving and will be using my old pc for a few months, so I wish to transfer all my actions stored in photoshop. Can anyone tell me how to do this please?

Hi, If it is only ACTIONS to transfer load onto a flash drive and just re-load into PS

Thanks for the link. I've saved them, but can't then locate them on the pc! I've tried searching for the file and looking at the file structure to see where it is but can't then find the first folders in it!

I've also tried saving it to my external hard drive but it says I don't have permission, kind of infuriating when it's my computer!

Hi, OK ask your question on here http://www.lightroomforums.net/forum.php
remember to state what L/R version, What version windows you have etc etc. every little helps.
Some very knowledgeable people on this site.

In explorer My computer
Go to...
in explorer go to
My computer
programs
Adobe
PS3 (or other)
Presets
Actions folder.
You can drag and drop actions from there.

Thanks Terry, the drag and drop worked I still couldn't drag or send it to my external HDD but a copy and paste worked :bonk:

I am surprised the copy and paste sent the contents rather than just the Picture of the folder.

I would check the contents.

You should be able to drag it to another hard disk. but you may have to hold the Ctrl key down to drag a copy.
