Transfer videos to iPad

Hi iPad gurus,

Is there a simple and effective way to transfer videos to ipad? If so, ls let me know the details. I would like transfer some movies to my ipad so that i could watch it on my long overseas flight this weekend.

Pls let me what are the steps to do thus.

Yep, providing the videos are a specific format

or use the avplayerhd app if you dont want to recode.

then either transfer via the app menu in itunes or FTP if you have that option available.

Films bought from iTunes etc should synch over automatically (from what I can gather) and again, from what I can gather, in the UK, there's no legal way to "rip" DVDs for viewing on a mobile device

a law that is fundamentally flawed (you can legally make copies of your media, however you cant bypass DRM )

I use Aiseesoft Blu-Ray to iPad Ripper. Stick in the disc (BD or DVD), press a couple of buttons then, 90 minutes later, use iTunes to transfer it.

Great app, I use it a fair bit.

It has just been updated to include streaming too (not tried it yet though).
