Days like this I don't like my apple mac. I have uploaded some pics to Aperture on my iMac and want to move them to elements. Can anybody tell me how to do this please. I would be extremely grateful. Normally I upload to elements….. on this occasion I didn't gggrrrr. I have tried to the point of frustration. Hoping someone can help.

Mandy, if you only want to move a few images, you could drag and drop them from the open Aperture window into Elements on the dock (bottom of screen) . I do this quite often when I want to move images from say, iPhoto, to Canon DPP.

Why is it your apple macs fault? Also you cannot 'move' them to elements as elements is not that type of program. Now if you mean edit them in elements then you can stipulate elements as a external editing tool, right click the file and choose edit in elements you can then save the file wherever you save your Elements files or alternatively you can just export the files you need i.e. select them, right click and then export, to a nominated folder and then just load them into elements

OK not had much experience of Elements recently ,but if I remember if in Elements organiser, you go to File, and select import you get the option to import from iPhoto. This should be the same as Aperture, but never tried it

Or simply select File "import from folder"
