I've been using an app (playerextreme) to transfer videos I've taken from my camera from my pc (windows 8) to my ipad pro 12.9 for the last year with no problems.

I haven't used it for a few weeks. Today I went to transfer one of my videos and Google will not play ball. I try either addresses in my chrome browser but it will not connect.

Any ideas to fix this please?

If it is just to transfer, can you not just upload the files to drop box or another other online storage system and use the relevant app to download to your ipad?

Never tried it. I'll give it a go though. Playerextreme was the easiest way for me though.

If you can access google drive from an ipad then use that, you only need drive on both and providing you keep below the limit its free.

You can import videos to the iPad using the iPad version of VLC (via WiFi and any PC web browser) and then save them to Files, or share them to another app. Other apps you might be able to use on the PC include PhotoSync, iMazing, iExplorer, and EaseUS MobiMover, but I'm not sure if any of those run on Windows 8.

ok, all sorted. I used dropbox, and then thought, why didn't I just use Goggle photos. Doh!
