Is there any way you can find out which countries will be training where in the lead up to the Olympics? I only ask this, because down in the Medway towns we have a nice new track/athletics complex which has barely been used, and I think that "A team" or "teams" may be using it.

Local council website or ring up maybe?
Just googled

As a County we have already agreed to host pre-Games training camps with international sports teams from various disciplines. The Ukraine and Belarus judo squads will train at Tonbridge School and the Barbados Paralympic team will train in Medway. More nations are expected to announce their plans to train in Kent in 2011. You can find out further information regarding the excellent training facilities available by following the links below. We would warmly welcome any further international enquiries, to info@kentsport.org, or by telephoning +44 1622 605 051.

You could try phoning them up to try and make a booking to use the venue for some time during the Olympics.

For those of you looking for the Dutch national team, they'll be taking over Alexandra Palace.:|

Thanks for that information Carol.

Guildford's new sports park is hosting quite a few I understand, with the university providing accommodation.

I'm just waiting to hear from one of the venues about the Equestrian training as it's about a five minute drive from me. I'll see him at football on Sunday probably

That will probably be the Nunstead Court one for you then (see you are up the road from me in Vigo). I am a little confused about Brands Hatch and cycling, because the road race and time trial events are in Surrey, the track stuff at the Velodrome and Mountain Biking at a purpose built track. I suppose that they could use it for training.
I have just found out, that Brands Hatch will be used for pre Olympic training and actual events in the Paralympics.

Nurstead you mean ;)

And yes, that's the one I was talking about.

Brands Hatch came back to me and told me to contact the LOCOG for media accreditation but I replied back saying it wasn't the actual games but the training. Nothing back since.
