Tragic news from South Lakes Wild Animal Park.

gutting, never been there but still horrible all the same :(

Wez, just thinking it may be nice if any users of TP have any Lemour portraits from the park it would be nice to forward to them as a lasting memory of the little fellas, what do you reckon ?

I've got one:

Puddleduck, that is just beautiful, I will forward the thread link to the contact e-mail address, just thought it would be nice for the keepers as they are understandably very distraught.

Oh no, that is terrible news. That was my favourite part of the park.

I loved the fact if you were there early in a morning before it got busy that they would just walk past you without worrying. Had one sat on my camera backpack one day. I could just stand there and watch them for hours.

I really feel for the keepers as they will have had such a bond with them.

Photo below is one of my favourites.

at first i thought it said llamas, and i hate llamas lol but i like lemurs :(

That is so sad i am a huge fan of the zoo and the work that they do - can't imagine how the keepers must be feeling either. Here is one of our pics that we took on a visit this summer. The cheeky chap.

Oh No, I was watching tv Prog and they were well chuufed with new babies what a shame, puddleduck and staffitaxi super images, althought Ste the focus is just a little out being on the eye brow rather than the eyes, but still top

That is terrible news. We've been several times and always look forward to the Lemurs. Here's one from last summer. Not as good an image as some but hopefully recognisable to it's keeper.
