Anyone watch it last night??

Jesus christ.

There was a guy who was racing his Type R against a Z4 and he crashed it. He managed to clear a 9 foot fence

If you aint watched it well worth a watch on Iplayer.

Tony, there is a bit on there for you to. A guy who was driving for six months tryed to overtake someone and rolled into a field. The car was a mess and he was lucky to be alive! You should take note.

I watched it
Think the fence was actually 13 feet high that he cleared:eek::eek:

Must of been pushing 120-130 when he lost it

Tool :shake:

I'm a cruiser, not a boy racer and it is very unlikely for me to be doing more than the speed limit anywhere. I know only too well from living in an area where cars go really fast and sometimes crash that going fast isn't always fun. Even when i am out in town i slow all the other people down who are with me. Because it's pointless putting the pedal to the floor uses more petrol.

Tony

He was damm lucky to survive it

Did it say at the end that he got a 4yr driving ban?

Yup and a suspended 12 month sentence and a heavy fine and 200 hours community serivce!

The BMW driver got 200 hours community service. Drivng ban for 2 years and a heavy fine.

THat oughta teach 'em.

Well then that is ok. You should be fine :D

I watched it, it was incredible the he managed to survive from the wreck of the type R.
At least we can sleep safe in the knowledge that the pair of muppets wont be on the road again for a few years.

Well said mate.....

I own a website for modified cars and cruising here in the North East.

www.cfne.co.uk

We all get tarred with the same brush and it really annoys me

I own and run a Mitsubishi Evo VI running approx 360-370bhp, it's not a cheap car to buy own or run after spending literally thousands on it.....so why risk piling it by driving like a tool on the public road....save it for the track!!

If I'll lost it on that road in my Land Rover, I'd have gone through the fence..........and the house.............

lad i went to school with had his license for 6hrs before hitting a tree head on and killing himself, take note, the dangers of the road, and for gods sake wear a seatbelt....!

Why? It's like anything else, you'll get used to it (plus the police will want a word ~ and some of your money ~ if they see you without).

I watched that programme. Incredible that the guy survived that crash, but he must have been a complete idiot to lose it so completely in a car with the steering and handling so well sorted. I reckon he went airborne over one those rises at about 130mph and totally lost control when he hit the ground.

You don't buy performance cars to drive like a clergyman, and I'm not opposed to a bit of occasional fun, but what you get is guys like this one with no restraint whatsoever who are prepared to be reckless and completely dangerous. Idiots! It was great to see him and the BMW driver get what they deserved. ;)
