Trading, GAS and other stuff.

So I was thinking, I tend to suffer from GAS, guitars, cars, and camera stuff, but , Im a vehicle tech/mechanic so GAS for me can be a bit of a pennyless pain. However, I would happily do drive way spanner work in return for GAS items! Could this be a ''thing'' , trading skilled work for GAS?

I don't see why not, although surely the odds of someone with camera gear you want, who also just so happens to require car work (which is possible to do on the driveway by you) is going to be far less likely than simply doing homers for money and then sourcing the camera gear separately?

It's possible, but with hard cash you can buy exactly what you want, rather than what someone has to offer.

This is very true, especially because of where I live, but I am sure there are others on this forum who live in more urban areas who have skills to trade?
