Is it possible to purchase an item once it's in the trading/classified archive? There is an item I may be interested in, but didn't want to break any rules by contacting the OP via pm as I don't have privalages to post on the original thread.

I imagine you would be fine by just starting a conversation with the seller to make him aware of your interest. If he still has the item ask him if he minds relisting it as normal..

The seller can ask a mod to 'un archive' the item if it's still available, this would save the seller doing all the pics and blurb again?
 
OR, start a wanted thread and PM the seller of the item that has been archived to tell him/her about your thread.
 
All perfectly acceptable suggestions all within the rules :thumbs:
 
Thanks for your help guys and for confirming the rules Mr Magoo... I have pm'd the seller to ask if it still available. If I hear back, then I'll ask to go into classified to hopefully sort a purchase.
