It looks like my image may have made it to the top 10 for landscapes. It could however be that I'm logged in and thats why its showing. Thanks for all your votes! Hopefully we have some other top ten's here too! There are a few images I recognise but i'm not sure if they are from here?

Sorry to hear that Kelack. There were some real stunners on there so I'm happy to have come this far, if I'm honest I don't think my image is on par with some of the other top 10. But we will see how things go :|

The results will be out on the 6th June so we can see how we were placed outside of the top 10.....
 
Great, I didn't realise they were going to do that! guess that explains the 'Results' tab :D
 
How can you tell if you have made it or not - I can't see anything that tells me I am a looser again ??
 
I couldn't work out why the results tab was inactive but if you hvoger it says about the results being available 6th June

If you go to the gallery, it has the Top 10 so if your pics not there you haven't made it.
 
Yeah that's how I realised. Saw the top 10 thingy clicked it and my image was number 11 which was odd. But it's there thats the main thing!

I'm pretty sure there are 11 in there. Well I hope mine is and the system hasn't randomly put mine in there due to a cookie on my machine. Can someone confirm my Lakeside bliss is in there? I'm worried!
 
I think the point that Alby was trying to make wasn't implying your photo which thoroughly deserved to be in the top 10 but others where the technical aspects have been forgotten in what was really a popularity contest.

There are some excellent shots including Matthew's in the top 10 but there are also some which I thought should have been there instead of others including our fellow TPers ones.

Well done all who entered though :thumbs:

I with you on this one, again not a sore loser but rules are rules and if a pro is entering then it makes a mockery of the rules they set out.

Great to see a TP'er in the top ten! And with your picture I reakon you are in with a good shout!
Gotta be honest searching through the galleries there definately was some pics that I have seen in Tog magazines under 'Pro Galleries'. Ahh well!

No your shot is exceptional Matthew and a worthy finalist, and looking at the landscape entries looks like you are up against 3 others as 6 aren't landscapes in my opinion. Good luck ;)
 
I agree with that. Some I voted for should have been in there for sure, but haven't made it. I think it would have been better to use the public vote to a small degree, but really put them all infront of the panel. Maybe the top 100 would have been more appropriate. it is definatley ashame that pro's are competing against amatures in this. Hopefully their images will be forefit, the nerve to put that they are a pro too!
 
Sorry forgot to mention Well done Mathew - Well deserved top 10 in my book.
