Been thinking about taking a few photos of the guitars I have, and quite a few of you guys seem to have them too :)

So...... Let's see em all in one place. Guitars, basses, amps or pedals.

I've got a few guitars, but this is the only decent photo I've got of any of them....must do better :( This one's a Custom Shop Strat. My others are Gibson SG, Gordon Smith Graduate, home built strat, home built tele and a Takamine acoustic.

Nice strat Larry :D 70's headstock for the win!

I seriously need to get my bum in gear now and get a family shot together this weekend

Here's one of mine, an Ibanez I light painted earlier this year.
I also have a black Variax 800 trem a strat & two acoustics.

I've now added a ukulele and a 5-string banjo to the guitars :)

(USA) G&L Legacy with birdseye maple neck

Fernandes Monterey Elite

Fender Telecaster Thinline

USA G&L Legacy - Candy Apple Red

Lovely selection of guitars there!
Who are G&L? I've never come across them but their website mentions Leo Fender?!
What's the thinline like? It's on my list of 'one day I'd like to own' guitars.

This has made me realise that I haven't got any pictures of any of my guitars - that can be a job for when I'm back from holiday (it's probably a good idea for insurance purposes too).

I've not got access to all my guitar pics but here's a few of mine till I can dig some more informative ones out.

A few old AMP shots - excuse the naff borders that I must have added for some reason..

G&L are the company started by Leo Fender when he left Fender. They are highly regarded as being excellent guitars I have read that they are comparable to fender custom shop guitars. You can get a cheaper version of G&L’s called Tribute made in Korea I think but mine are the USA models.

G&L Factory Tour

Link to Richards Guitars which is one of the few places in the UK you can buy G&L’s

The Thinline is a great guitar as soon as I picked it up it just felt so comfortable to use.

Next on my list is a G&L ASAT which is Leo Fenders version of a Tele go to 6mins 15sec of this video for an example of an ASAT

Naff picture but a lovely guitar to play with a great tone

I bet the smartie got snaffled after the shot.
Love the Amp shots.

Hawkeye! I didn't notice at first then had to go back to have a look! Maybe a plectrum would be easier as the smartie may be a bit small, m and m's are a definate no.

Darrel, is that an m2? Love ESP's, have an eclipse myself

It sure is! I also have an ESP Eclipse with a hard tail and EMG pick ups. The Eclipse is the better guitar to be honest, I just don't have a nice photo of it!

Go on, take a photo of the Eclipse when you get time. You are presumably into your heavier music. What amp do you own?

Another naff old picture of another of mine.

Gibson Epiphone x-1000. A late 1980's 'shredder' - 24 jumbo frets on a composite fretboard, through neck and I replaced the trem with a the Kayler Trem. Baby EMG pickups aren't the best though.

Loving the x1000! Haven't seen one of those for years! :)

It's certainly an interesting guitar. Very 'quick' if you know what I mean.

I've toyed with selling it a few times over the years but despite being in great condition - it's not really worth that much and it's got sentimental value

I must get it out of the case, give it a polish and get some better images.

I've got a Mesa Boogie Dual Rec but trying to sell it and grab an Axe Fx 2. I'll try and get some pictures of the Eclipse done soon, needs polishing though!

Very nice! Is the 18 volt mod worth doing?

Here is mine:-

Your Eclipse looks spotless! :)
The 18 volt mod made the biggest difference to my cleans. A bit more headroom on the clean side of things, and a tiny bit more definition once the gain gets turned up.
I decided it wasnt making much difference, so removed it, and very quickly put it back  It's hard to explain really... you dont appreciate it until it's gone I suppose :D

Rocking out on my No name Jazz Bass in the spare room! This is my favourite Bass, Rebuilt it myself with a perfect Neck action. Needs new strings now but can't seem to find what it currently has. (Metric strings!)

These no longer reside here, the Jagmaster was pure joy to play, shame I bought it for my ex Wife!

And this is my most recent project part way through; A Crappy old Encore P Bass now rebuilt, although it still needs more work. It has since received silk ended strings and pickup and bridge covers.

This is my everyday Bass - Tanglewood Rebel 4K. Nice Bass, but not a great fan of it's pickups or it's string spacing (too tapered).

Thanks! I really should play it more. It's flawless apart from a hairline scrape on the headstock. I was trying to clip a string with wire clippers, slipped off and scraped the paint. I nearly wept!

Still unsure about the mod. I've come across it before and it sounded like too much effort. Plus if it ain't broke don't fix it kinda thing :)

I'll try one of these nice low key amp shots if I can find the room!

I just bought a pack of square battery connectors and soldered three together. Two of them for batteries and the other one to connect to the original battery connector. That way it's fully reversible and you don't have to cut or solder the original wiring
I may still have some spare connectors. If I do, I'll stick one together for you if you like and pop it in the post

Wow that's a kind offer! Thanks! As long as I can fit the extra battery in there without any extra routing I'd be up for giving it a try!

No worries :) They both fit in there. I will dig the cables out this weekend and sort it out
