There's lots of people on TP helping out in their own little way. It's what makes the site better than a lot of other conceptually similar websites :) I like it here.

If you'd like to use this as the foundation for seeing how such a venture would work, can you speak to Bob first? It was he who decided that I was trustworthy enough to lend his ST-E2 and all I really know is that he's a very, very, very nice man to actually be doing so.

I'd like to think that it was because I've put enough 'in' to the forums to be able to find myself fortunate enough to get something 'out' but ultimately only Bob could tell you why he felt comfortable enough to be lending his gear out to a complete stranger.

Yes indeed mate.
Bob has already contributed to my 'loans' thread, which is gaining mixed reactions!

I will speak to Bob about this, and later on perhaps even yourself (if you don't mind of course) as I'm sure you could both help this 'venture' out a bit.
