The Flange Peddlars had a Man Utd-esque start to the new season, after last seasons heroics. After a solid 3rd place position in last seasons De Frag league, Flange Peddlars have high hopes for TP fantasy league glory but a shakey start at the weekend has some Peddlarphiles worried. One fan said 'Last season we had Ronaldo & Fabregas banging in goals from all over the park, and now we've got Robbie Keane & Simon Davies!! We should have been bringing quality players in like Wookie Wanderers, but we seem to have brought in a load of journeyman'. Peddlars director of football, Stuart Henderson, was quick to defend his new look squad and was keen to stress that 'there's still 37 games to go' and that 'the lads will come good'. Whatever happens in the next few weeks, Henderson will be hoping that he is not the first managerial casualty of the new season, as the bookies have him favourite to be, at the moment.
