I've only had a quick scan through the thread in shock as I wasn't aware we were doing a calander again this yer. :eek:

I think we're going to need longer years though, i've already spotted more than enough fantastic images :thumbs:

Why not have more than 1 pic per page? You could have 1 main and a couple of "also ran"? Or just multiple pics per page....

I have trawled my collection from the last year, and pondered over many shots, but finally settled on this one. Might not be my best shot of the year, but it represents what this forum is all about and therefore I think appropriate for our annual calendar - like-minded people sharing a passion and enjoying each others company. I have made plenty of friends on this forum over the last year and half, and these are two of the best guys I know. Taken at Dungeness at our meet earlier in the year, Forbiddenbiker and Shutterman await the sunrise. It was about 4.30am, we had all had maybe 3 hours sleep max but were determined to catch that moment of the day when it really is 'all about the light'

I would love this to make it into the calendar [not sure they would :nuts: ] but even if it doesn't, this is my way of saying thanks to everyone that posts here and makes this place so damn good!! :thumbs:

More like one (or maybe two!) per day the way superb images are piling in!
 
Some of the best shots I've ever seen on TP are appearing here! Great stuff. Don't think I can compete, so mine's a run of the mill sunset and reflections on sea shot.

Thought this was a classic picture for a calendar as it to my mind it clearly pinpoints a particular month of the year.
